ClearBond features many performance and cost advantages over EVA based hot melt products including superior adhesion, lower mileage, reduced application pressure and lower equipment maintenance costs.
ClearBond Hot Melt Adhesives have superior bonding attributes versus EVA based and polyolefin-based technologies and offer significantly reduced application weights. ClearBond Hot Melt Adhesives are up to 10% lower in density versus EVA based products, meaning that, at the same volume, ClearBond Adhesives are applying 10% less weight. In addition, application pressure is significantly reduced with ClearBond Adhesives. The volume of adhesive applied is typically 25% less and, combined with the density advantage; there is at least a 35% savings in the amount of adhesive used with ClearBond.
ClearBond Adhesives offer additional savings on equipment maintenance because there is no odor, charring, degradation of the product or viscosity.
