Water-based Adhesives

Ideal for: Porous or Non-Porous Substrates

Packaging, Paper Converting and Assembly Applications
Water Based Resin Adhesives (White Glues) are comprised of polymers and additives mixed with water that create an adhesive for various applications and substrates. Water is the vehicle that transports the mixture to the surfaces and must evaporate or be absorbed for the adhesive to perform. The resin adhesive is made up of capsules that burst when water leaves the mixture or when they are compressed so the adhesive can form a single film between the substrates.

Water Based Resin Adhesives provide:

  • broad range of adhesion to a variety of substrates
  • fast setting, relative to solution technology
  • easy handling because it is liquid at room temperature
  • safe, non-toxic, non-flammable, water dilutable and water cleanable
  • aging stability of bonds
  • resistance to heat, cold and oxidation
  • very strong bonds
