PolyTak, hot melt adhesives for case and carton manufacturing, is available in three formulas:
Features:
PolyTak PT3000 is a high performance, medium set polyethylene based hot melt for case, carton and tray sealing applications. PolyTak PT3000 exhibits excellent hot tack which will adhere to difficult surfaces. It also has excellent machinability and offers an approximate 10% less usage rate vs. EVA based products based on density.

PolyTak 6005 is a premium case, carton and tray sealing hot melt adhesive exhibiting excellent adhesion, runnability, and mileage and heat resistance. PolyTak 6005 offer adhesion to a variety of paper and paperboard stock. Due to its low density, this product increases mileage and reduces wear on application parts.

THERMAL STABILITY
Improved Mileage: PolyTak Technology can be expected to save up to 25% advantage in mileage based on superior aggressive adhesion technology (lowering bead size) and lower density not factored above in savings example (0.91 vs. 0.97); both resulting in the use of less adhesive usage vs. EVA based technology.
Better Thermal Pot Stability: Better pot stability will result in longer pot-life for less waste, wider service temperature range, reduced downtime and maintenance costs and adherence to a wider range of surfaces. No downtime!
