Jeff Wisdom is the fifth generation owner of Wisdom Adhesives and has been in the adhesives industry for over 20 years. Throughout Jeff’s tenure as CEO, Wisdom Adhesives has increased sales four-fold. Additionally, under his guidance, Wisdom Adhesives has implemented the following company initiatives:

• Formation of Wisdom Global Adhesives Group with international sales in over 14 countries.
• Expansion to the Elgin, IL production facility now includes both Waterbased and Hot Melt Adhesives.
• Key Strategic Partners Initiative Program for Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Sales and Distribution.
• Wisdom Distribution Program in North America and internationally.
• Wisdom Total Quality Management Program (WTQM) with LSS-FAST.
• GreenBond Sustainable Adhesive Technologies.
• ECO2 Management Approach.

Additionally, under Jeff’s leadership, Wisdom was named Illinois Family Business of the Year in 2009.
Jeff also was instrumental in establishing The Wisdom Family Foundation. The foundation provides financial support to organizations and programs that assist in the growth and overall well being of children and families in the greater Elgin, Illinois area.

Jeff was named a finalist for Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year and was also inducted into Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame.

Linda Wisdom
Vice President of Operations
Wisdom Adhesives

Linda has over 19 years of experience as the Vice President of Operations at Wisdom Adhesives. She has been instrumental in implementing all Operational, Quality and Logistical Program initiatives at Wisdom Adhesives and the Wisdom Global Adhesive Group.

Linda has also been key to the growth of the Wisdom Global Adhesive Group by working closely with international operations, corporate accounts and our distribution program from a logistical and operational standpoint. Linda is also championing WizNet – Wisdom Adhesives on-line ordering system.

Jeff Wisdom, fifth generation owner of the company states “Linda has done an outstanding job successfully implementing our Wisdom Total Quality Management WTQM LSS-FAST Program, working closely with key production, logistics and operations personnel. She continues to manage our growth from all operational aspects of our business and has managed our international efforts very effectively.”

Linda Wisdom holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Architectural Design from St. Benedictine College of St. Joseph, MN.

Paul Preston
Vice President
Wisdom Adhesives North America Sales

Mr. Preston has been with Wisdom Adhesives for over 19 years in key sales management roles including his most recent assignment as Vice President of North America Sales.

Paul has been instrumental in the growth of the Wisdom Adhesives Corporate Account base in the U.S. and Canada. Paul has guided Wisdom Adhesives making extensive in-roads into the packaging, graphic arts, converting and assembled products industries, and is responsible for the consistent double digit sales increases over the last five years.

Jeff Wisdom, fifth generation Owner of the Company states, “Paul consistently meets and exceeds our sales goals for North America. His leadership of the sales force has been excellent! In particular, his work with our Corporate Account Program has been extraordinary, and has enabled us to expand our reach throughout North America.”

Mr. Preston holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Communication from Northern Illinois University, Dekalb, IL.

Tom Rolando
Vice President of Technologies
Wisdom Global Adhesives Group

Mr. Rolando is a Technical Expert in the Adhesives Industry. He has nearly 25 years of experience in the adhesives, coatings and sealants industries as a technical expert. Prior to joining Wisdom Adhesives, Tom ran H.B. Fuller’s Flexible Packaging Program in a dual role as technical and business manager. Tom also has developed coatings and ink experience as Technical Director at both Akzo Nobel and Cargill.

Tom has significantly added to the product portfolio during his tenure at Wisdom Adhesives, including the GreenBond Sustainable Adhesive product line, ClearBond product line among other achievements. Tom has also championed the Wisdom Total Quality Management (WTQM) LSS-FAST and ECO² business programs.

Mr. Rolando holds a Master of Science Degree in Organic Polymer Chemistry from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, ND and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry from the College of St. Scholastica, Duluth, MN.

Andrea Steiger
Vice President of Customer Relations
Wisdom Adhesives

Andrea has been an integral part of the Wisdom Adhesives team for over 10 years. During that time she has been instrumental in planning and implementing our leading-edge customer service initiatives as well as developing new tools to effectively communicate with our customers. Andrea works hard to ensure that “The Wisdom Way” of doing business continues to exceed customer expectations as it has since 1875.
